THE FUTURE OF DIGITAL HEALTH

This webinar has been developed from:

A meeting held on 26-Feb-2021 of Dr Hans Widjaja (National hospital Surabaya), Pak Hanifan Tarmizi, Pak Aris Pratama (both of Austrade) and Jeff Parker (JP Consulting), and
A subsequent meeting on 4-Mar-2021 with leaders from the Gadjah Mada University Center of Hospital Services Management, namely Prof. dr. Laksono Trisnantoro, dr. Guardian Yoki Sanjaya (Gugu) and Putu Eka Andayani.

Concept

Themed around what’s needed to improve Indonesia’s healthcare system coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, focussing on the role of hospitals and how to improve the integration of care services across the healthcare system.
Hold jointly with UGM, PERSI and Austrade (as headline hosts), supported by AIBC, IABC and AIC, and possibly others.
Aiming for first week of April 2021; 1 hour long

Objectives

To improve the awareness and understanding of key stakeholders of the priorities and opportunities for improving Indonesia’s healthcare system, and to develop ideas of how that could be achieved.
Build on existing good relationship between Indonesia and Australia to find ways to partner and collaborate on achieving this goal.
Outline the key steps necessary to achieve health system improvement, looking at topics such as opportunities for innovation, a roadmap for digital infrastructure, work force development and overall capability building.
Support the dialogue necessary with MoH and other key stakeholders in progressing this important work, particularly coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, including exploring options for approaches, e.g. National compared with Province approach.
